Donation to Blanchester Youth Basketball of $1,250!!

The First National Bank of Blanchester held its 11th annual fall Party in the Park on Friday, September 29, 2017 to benefit the Blanchester Youth Basketball program. Food, drink, music, and face painting are always highlights of the party. This fall’s event marked FNB’s 11th Fall Party in the Park!! We were honored to have in attendance many of Blanchester’s volunteer youth basketball board members, coaches, and players.

FNB staff and community volunteers helped make the Party in the Park a huge success! FNB would like to thank the people and businesses who graciously gave in support of this event. Without these partners, thisevent would not be successful. This wonderful group includes: Rajai Elfar from Gold Star Chili of Blanchester; Tom Dazey of DIBS, LLC; Parker Beebe and Curless Printing; Studio on Main; BDK Supply; and S & S Market.

FNB would also like to extend special thanks to the Blanchester Marion Township Fire Department; Tom Dazey for his wonderful BBQ pork, DJ Jeremy Lansing of Leftside Entertainment; and our face painter Connie Collins.

A very gracious thank you to Jane Whitaker, Darlene Herbert and the ladies of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for WONDERFUL baked goods! Visitors enjoyed watching the homecoming parade as it strolled by and Blanchester Youth Basketball board members Jen Kaehler and Travis Tipton were great sports for the Pie-in-the-Face contest! Friendly volunteers Evelyn and Cecil Moore, collecting donations during the event.

We would like to thank FNB staff and numerous other friends and family for making this event possible! We had a great time supporting our community! This event has grown from a charity fundraiser into an event that truly brings our community together. It is with much joy that FNB opens the Penquite Park each fall and spring for our wonderful Blanchester community! Thank you all!!
